It’s been so long! W.i.P for my grandmother as a “thank you” for helping me out when my arm was bad. She bought my plane tickets for some of the trips to see my surgeon. Acrylic on canvas board. Birds are from photo ref (only one is finished) I had no idea how I wanted to do the background- mistake #1 -so I started overworking it and now it’s becoming a pain to finish (and not worth the payout. The birds don’t fit the style) Ah well, gonna try to finish it (tonight? lets hope) and get it to her so I can start on something else :D

• Question: You don't know how happy it makes me that your hand is healing and that you're back to be kinda active on the internet. I've been following you since history of hyrule was super active ( which,has always been, but I was active when people could submit art kinda like more than 8 years ago lol? ) and thanks to you I where I am now : ).   You don’t know how happy it makes me to receive something like this. ♥ Thank you. It’s incredibly kind and inspiring. Thank you so much. It really… really means a lot to me. Like, seriously. Life had been a little tough on me lately and, during the whole time, I only had about 2 people that seemed in any way supportive in my family- (The rest seemed to just forget and not even care.) and, hearing stuff like this, makes me realize all the more that I really don’t need to care about that. All that matters… is that…Well, it’s… wonderful to feel encouragement coming from somewhere. Now I wanna go draw something :3

  And, agh! I’m behind but HoH should be open for realz, with art submissions and everything, again soon :3 The coding is taking a bit longer because of life, and not all of the content for opening is finished ;)

  EDIT: ACK, I had no idea these would appear as public posts. Maybe I can change things in settings? I don’t want to not reply to messages; I don’t care that my answer is public but… I don’t know if it was intended to be public in the first place. Tumblr is… weird.

Old sketch, new blog. Right now I’ll be using this account to follow friends but it’s likely I’ll also use it for art when I start drawing again.
